Madara Palameika

Madara Palameika ( born June 18, 1987 in Talsi, Latvian SSR, USSR) is a Latvian javelin thrower.

Her first international tournament played Palameika on August 15, 2006 with the participation in the Junior World Championships in Athletics 2006 in Beijing. There she already retired in the qualifier with a width of 46.34 m. At the World Athletics Championships in Berlin in 2009 it reached a length of 52.98 m and thus the 14th place in the preliminaries. Subsequently, she won the gold medal, where she also aufstellte their personal best at the U23 European Championships 2009 in Kaunas. The European Athletics Championships 2010 in Barcelona they first came to the final and there with a width of 60.78 m to eighth place.
