Made Flesh is the second studio album by the band Extra Life. It was released by the label LOAF on March 30, 2010.
Genesis
After Charlie Looker had almost replaced after the release of their debut album " Secular Works", 2008, the entire line-up, the preparations began for " Made Flesh ". Drummer Ian Antonio lived in the recordings only as Gastperkussionist, remained as a permanent member was next to Charlie Looker only bassist Anthony Gedrich.
Style and reception
"Made Flesh" is arranged as a concept album about body modification. On it Extralife developed the style of the debut album on; the dominant, oriented at the Renaissance vocal music Charlie Lookers forms a contrast to the unclassifiable between folk-rock and RIO melodies that sometimes slip in avant-garde experimental music.
As " Secular Works" was also reacted favorably "Made Flesh" by the critics; so the album was about to Sputnikmusic.com 4.5 of 5 possible points on the Baby Blue Pages 12.33 out of 15 possible points and the award for " Tip of the Month " in September 2010.
