Madhyapur Thimi

Madhyapur Thimi is a city in the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal, and is part of the metropolitan area Kathmandu. The city is located in Bhaktapur District in the Bagmati Zone and flanked on the west and on the east by Kathmandu Bhaktapur. From Kathmandu, the city area is only separated from the International Airport. Madhyapur Thimi is one of the oldest cities of the valley on the trade route between Kathmandu and Tibet.
