Magazine 60

Magazine 60 was a French euro disco group in the 1980s.

Band History

Producer behind 60 Magazine was Jean Luc Drion, who also took over the composition together with Dominique Régiacorte. For the single album's release of the project he hired the singer Veronique Oliver. In 1985, the single Don Quixote was at number 56 of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, reaching number 18 of the Maxi Maxi - Singles Sales chart. In Europe, the title was successful in France, he remained a total of 23 weeks in the charts, the highest quotation was number 10, while in Austria number 25 was reached. Drion turned to other producers tasks, including the band Monte Kristo, there were no other new releases more. In the United States the single Pancho Villa was released in 1987, but did not achieve chart listing.

Published in 2007, the title will.i.am I Got It From My Mom, the refrain of which is based on a guitar sample of Don Quixote. Jean -Luc Drion and Dominique Régiacorte are therefore named as co-authors.
