Mahershala Ali

Mahershalalhashbaz " Mahershala " Ali ( born February 16, 1974 in Oakland, California as Mahershalalhashbaz Gilmore ) is an American actor.

Life

Educated at New York University Ali was also in many plays, including The Merchant of Venice on stage. Ali was in the first season ( nineteen episodes ) the main cast of Crossing Jordan - pathologist with profile, appeared as a guest in several television series on, including an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and took a starring role in the TV series 4400 - The returnees, and in Threat Matrix - red Alert

He also took a supporting role in David Fincher's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. In 2012 he was seen in the drama The Place Beyond the Pines.
