House of Cards is an American web series that is broadcast since February 2013 in the United States of Netflix streaming. The political thriller series was created as an extended U.S. adaptation of the BBC series of the same name, in turn based on the novel A house of cards.

Action

The series takes place in Washington, D.C. In the center is Francis "Frank" Underwood ( Spacey ), an intelligent, experienced and power-conscious congressman of the Democratic Party. As Majority Whip of the Democrats, it is his duty to bring the delegates to party or government line. When the coveted and already promised post of foreign minister, however, denied him the new president and party colleague Garrett Walker, Underwood seeks revenge.
