Mahir Sağlık

Mahir Sağlık ( born January 18, 1983 in Paderborn ) is a Turkish footballer who is currently at SC Paderborn under contract.

Career

Sağlık began his career at SC Green-White Paderborn and moved to the C- Youth for SC Paderborn 07, 2003, he moved to LR Ahlen. There, however, he did not play and was loaned back to SC Paderborn for the second round. In the 2004/05 season he was loaned to Borussia Dortmund II. In 2005 he left Ahlen final and moved to VfB Admira Wacker Mödling in the Austrian Bundesliga. After the club was relegated to the second league in 2006, he moved back to Germany to 1.FC Saarbrücken. 2007 1.FC Saarbrücken dismounted in the league, so Sağlık moved to Wuppertal SV Borussia, with whom he signed a contract until 2009.

In the 2007 /08 season Sağlık was in the Regionalliga Nord with 27 goals scorer, after which he signed for VfL Wolfsburg he extended after a few weeks for another year. There, he scored on the second matchday of the Bundesliga in a 2-2 against VfL Bochum his first Bundesliga goal. On 17 December 2008 he scored with Wolfsburg in the UEFA Cup match against AC Milan in his first international goal for a 2-2 draw.

On February 1, 2009 Sağlık was loaned to the end of the season 2008/ 09 on the Karlsruher SC. In the summer of 2009 he returned to VfL Wolfsburg, but was cleared as coach Armin Veh no longer planned with him. On 31 August 2009 Sağlık was loaned to his hometown club SC Paderborn 07. For the season 2010/11 he moved to the Bundesliga relegation VfL Bochum, where he signed a three -year contract. In the summer 2011, he moved to FC St. Pauli. He signed a two-year contract. During the winter break of 2012/13 he returned to SC Paderborn, where he signed a contract until 2016.
