Maitland Ward
Maitland Ward ( born February 3, 1977 in Long Beach, California as Ashley Maitland Welkos ) is an American actress.
Life and career
Ward made his debut in the television series Bold and the Beautiful, in which she played the role until 1996 Jessica Forrester in 1994. During this time she was still a high school student. For this role she won the 1995 Young Artist Award and was nominated for a Soap Opera Digest Award.
Ward studied after graduating from high school at California State University, Long Beach and sat at the same time continuing her acting career. She starred in the television thriller The murderous classroom (1997 ) on the side of Scott Bairstow and Amy Jo Johnson. In the comedy Dish Dogs ( 2000) she played alongside Sean Astin, Matthew Lillard and Brian Dennehy one of the major roles. In the comedy White Chicks (2004) she appeared alongside Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans.
Ward is married to Terry Baxter since 2006.
