Makakahi River

The Makakahi River is a river in the Manawatu-Wanganui Region in the North Island of New Zealand.
It rises south of Eketahuna. From here it flows along the State Highway 2 for 40 km north west before flowing at Pahiatua in the Mangatainoka River, which flows a few kilometers further at Woodville in the Manawatu River.
It is used for trout fishing, kayaking and swimming.
