The river cruise ships Maksim Gorkiy class (Russian Максим Горький, German transcription: Maxim Gorky ), which was also known as Project Q -040, and channel flow are common inland passenger motor ships of large dimensions. The class is named after the first ship of the class, which is named after the Russian writer Maxim Gorky.

History

The river cruise ship series was produced in 1974. The Austrian shipyards in Korneuburg AG ( Austria ) built ships of their own design. The naming was limited to two great writers. Used were the ships on the Volga.

Technology

In the 1990s the ships were modernized and rebuilt for new relationships. As the ships were also targets in north- western lakes of Russia, these ships were also equipped with GPS and modern radar systems. The ships have a diesel drive with two main engines 6ChRN 36/45 G- 60th

Equipment

All comfortable 1 -, 2 - and 3- bed cabins are equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator, shower and WC, 220 V connection and have large windows.
