Maksim Shatskix

Maksim Aleksandrovich Shatskix ( Uzbek Maksim Shatskix; Russian Максим Александрович Шацких, Maxim Alexandrovich Schazkich; UEFA transcription Maksim Shatskikh; born August 30, 1978 in Tashkent) is an Uzbekistani football players.

Career

The striker played since the start of the 1998/99 season at the top Ukrainian club Dynamo Kiev and since 1999 in the Uzbek national team, where he is leading scorer. Previously, he played at Baltika Kaliningrad. Kiev took him as a replacement for Andriy Shevchenko, which is why he is called in his native Uzbekistan as " Shevchenko ". With Dynamo Kiev, he won five league titles and was also doing twice top scorer in the league. In 2009 he joined the Kazakh club locomotive Astana, where he became the runner-up. In 2010 he returned to the Ukraine to Arsenal Kiev. During the winter break 2012/2013, he moved to league internally Chernomorets Odessa.

After the 2007/ 08 season Shatskix scored 97 goals in the Ukrainian Premier League, making him the second best scorer in the history of the league. Only Sergei Rebrov stands with its 123 gates before him.

The Uzbek national Shatskix failed narrowly to Bahrain in qualifying for the 2006 World Cup. The Uzbeks were playing in their capital, Tashkent, only 1:1 and arrived in Bahrain not out on a 0-0, which meant the resignation. Bahrain, however, then was eliminated by Trinidad and Tobago. During qualifying for the 2010 World Cup Shatskix achieved in October 2007 in the 9-0 victory against Taiwan five goals in a game.
