The Pic de la Maladeta ( Aragonese ) or Pico de la Maladeta (Spanish ) is a 3308 m high mountain near the highest Pyrenean summit Aneto in the province of Huesca in the Spanish autonomous community of Aragon.

The mountain is located in the Parque Natural Posets- Maladeta in the municipality of Benasque. He was regarded for some time as the highest mountain in the Pyrenees. Therefore, wearing the massif, which includes the Aneto counts his name. The west summit, Maladeta Occidental is 3254 m high.

The first ascent was made by the German naturalist Johann Jacob Friedrich Wilhelm Parrot with mountain guide Pierre Barrau made ​​on 29 September 1817 by Bagneres- de -Luchon. He discovered that the Aneto still loomed higher than the Monte Perdido, who was regarded in his day as the highest peaks of the Pyrenees.
