Malajube

Malajube is a francophone indie rock band from Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

History

Malajube were known by their first album in 2004 published Le Compte Complet, which received good reviews and the band went to a local size of the Québec music scene. As a producer for the album, the group was able to Martin Pelland, a member of the friendly Montreal band The Dears win.

In the months following the release of their first album, Malajube toured across Quebec and participated in several major festivals.

In February 2006 the quintet released their second album Trompe - l'œil, which attracted attention in English Canada and later in neighboring United States.

The songs Montreal -40 ° C and sound Plat Favori were also used for advertising spots.
