Mali Iđoš Municipality
The Opština Mali Iđoš (Cyrillic: Општина Мали Иђош, Hungarian: Kishegyes község ) is a municipality in Severna Bačka Okrug in the north of Vojvodina. Administrative center is the city of Mali Iđoš.
Population
Mali Iđoš is a multiethnic community. At the last census in 2002 out of a total 13,494 inhabitants:
- Hungary: 7,546 ( 55.92 %)
- Montenegrin: 2,812 ( 20.83 %)
- Serbs: 2,357 ( 17.46 %)
- Roma: 138 (1.02 %)
Due to the relatively high number of Montenegrin Montenegrin population in 2010 was introduced in addition to Serbian and Hungarian as a third official language in the town in December.
Towns
In the municipality there are three villages, all of which are ethnically mixed:
- Feketić
- Lovćenac
- Mali Iđoš
