Malinová (Rakovník District)

Malinová ( German Beerenheid ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers south-west of Rakovníka in Rakonitzer hill country and belongs to Okres Rakovník.

Geography

The village is located in the headwaters of the creek Malinovský. South of the pond Polsky is rybnik.

Neighboring towns are Příčina in the north, Žďáry in the northeast, Hvozd in the east, Panoší Újezd ​​the southeast, Nová Ves, Rousínov and Zhoř in the south, Krakov in the southwest and Zavidov and Petro Vice in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village dates from 1585. 1850 lived in the village of 212 people and 1869 there were 231 in 34 houses. Since the end of the 19th century began a decline in population. The inhabitants lived by agriculture.

1930 Malinová had only 182 inhabitants and in the second half of the 20th century was halved by the rural exodus, the number of residents. 1932 a monument to the fallen of the First World War was inaugurated. In 1980 the village was incorporated into Panoší Újezd ​​and since 1990 it is again independent.

Today Malinová consists of 38 residential buildings.
