Mallika Sherawat

Mallika Sherawat (Hindi: मल्लिका शेरावत; born October 24, 1976 in Rohtak, Haryana as Reema Lambha ) is an Indian actress.

Life

Mallika Sherawat visited the Delhi Public School in New Delhi. She received her degree in philosophy at the College Miranda House at the University of Delhi.

Her film debut was in 2002 Sherawat Bollywood films Jeena Sirf Merre Liye. In 2004, she played - in addition Kashmira Shah - in the drama thriller Murder the main role of Simran Saigal. In the Chinese action film The Myth (2005) she played - besides Jackie Chan and Kim Hee-sun, the role of the Indian Princess Samantha. In the Bollywood movie Guru (2007) she played - in addition to Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai - the role of Jhumpa.

As the first Bollywood actress Sherawat was on 14 August 2009 - for their acting abilities and her charitable efforts - the honorary citizenship of the city of Los Angeles.
