Malta height is a village in the Hardap region of Namibia.

The village is located about 110 kilometers west of Mariental on the main road C19 and has about 2,100 residents. Its name comes from the district captain Henning von Burg Dorff, who is a police station here in 1895 the German colonial administration initiated and the place after his wife called Malta.

The town is the center of important for Namibia Karakul and serves the remainder of the supply of the surrounding farms. A popular meeting place in the village for the farmer and the most just by trotting tourists, the bar height Malta hotel. The hotel was founded in 1907 and is the oldest country hotel Namibia. The hotel in 2007 is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Not far from the village is the Duwisib castle.
