Manila is a small town and the county seat of Daggett County, Utah, at the northern border of Wyoming.
Geography
The village lies at the junction of SR43 and SR44. Just east of Manila lies the Flaming Gorge Reservoir and south of the Ashley National Forest. Here the Kings Peak is located at 4123 m ( 13,528 feet) altitude.
History
Manila was founded in 1898. The first houses in Manila were really only log cabins with one or two rooms. Five numbered roads led from west to east.
