The Manilla River is a river in the north of the Australian state of New South Wales. It is a tributary of the Namoi River and is conducted despite its name, the Geographical Names Board of New South Wales as a stream.

The Manilla River drains a portion of the hills in the western part of the Highlands of New England and the southern slopes of the Nandewar Range. He turns first to the north, then a bit to the east and finally south through Barraba. In Manilla it flows into the Namoi River.

The Split Rock Reservoir is located on the Manilla River about 10 km north of Manilla. It is an important water reservoir in the catchment area of ​​the Namoi River to prevent flooding and ensure the land irrigation.
