Männiku ( German Tannenhof ) is a village (Estonian küla ) in the rural community Martna ( Martna vald ) in Lääne in Estonia.

Population and location

The place has eight inhabitants ( 31 December 2011). It is 45 kilometers east of the district capital of Haapsalu.

History

1811 was the Good Mennick or in direct translation from Estonian Tannenhof. It was in 1865 converted into a country place. Twenty years later it acquired the Estonian peasant Jacob Peets. Later, the lands were to the farmers agricultural bank which gave the land.
