Mansour El-Essawy

Mansour Abdel Kerim El- Essawy is at the rank of general in the Egyptian police and politicians, formerly in charge of Regional Policy and most recently for the Department of the Interior. He was appointed on March 6, 2011 as the successor of Mahmoud Wagdy as interior minister in the cabinet of Essam Sharaf. In his former role as deputy head of security at Cairo to El- Essawy has used against corruption. Previously, he was also governor of Al- Minya.
