Manuel Agujetas

Manuel de los Santos Pastor, also known as El or El Agujetas Agujeta (* 1939 in Rota, Spain ) is a flamenco singer. His father Agujetas el Viejo and he followed the school of Manuel Torre in the tradition of Jerez de la Frontera. He is the father of singer Dolores Agujetas and singer Antonio Agujetas. He worked in the blacksmith shop of his father, until he went as a teenager to Madrid to work there. He was involved in the recording of Magna Antología del Cante, compiled by Blas Vega. He sang a Martinete in Carlos Saura 's film Flamenco by 1995 and Dominique Abel's documentation Agujetas.Cantaor.
