The Mérida airport, officially Aeropuerto Internacional Manuel Crescencio Rejón or internationally also Manuel Crescencio Rejón International Airport, also German Manuel Crescencio Rejón airport or airport Mérida - Rejón is an international commercial airport in the Mexican city of Mérida to the southeast of the country. He is ASUR briefly operated by the airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste. The airport also serves as the headquarters of the Air Base No. 8 of the Mexican Air Force.

The airport has been thoroughly modernized in the years 1999 to 2001 and can accommodate aircraft up to the size of a Boeing 747-400 or Boeing 777-300. The capacity of the two crossed start and runways is 30 aircraft movements per hour. The longer of the two take-off and landing runways, 10 /28, has also issue an instrument landing system (ILS ). There are in addition to various operational buildings, a passenger terminal at the airport, which can accommodate both domestic and international flights. It has 60 check- in counters and four passenger boarding bridges. The airport currently occupies an important role in domestic traffic. Many airlines connect the airport directly to various destinations in Mexico. The most important by far is the route to Mexico City, which is served on the day many times. There are also a few international traffic.
