Manuel Mota (fashion designer)

Manuel Mota Cerrillo ( born July 8, 1966 in Reus, Tarragona, Spain, † January 8, 2013 in Sitges, Province of Barcelona ) was a fashion designer who was last employed 23 years in the bridal wear company Pronovias Fashion Group in Barcelona.

Mota first versuchtbegann training towards architecture. Due to its greater interest in fashion and textiles, he oriented himself to sign on fashion and costume design. At the age of 20 years moved to study at the Institución Artística de Enseñanza ( IADE ) in Madrid. During this time, he started for the Spanish bridal wear company Pronovias design as designer wedding dresses and remained after his education where he worked. In May 2012, he presented at the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya in Barcelona a fashion design exhibition.

Mota designed as a fashion designer and costume designer, among other dresses for the Australian model Miranda Kerr, the Israeli model Bar Refaeli and 2010 to the wedding of the Dutch supermodel Doutzen Kroes and for the Mexican singer, actress and model Alessandra Rosaldo. Mota died on January 8, 2013 in Sitges at the age of 46 years.
