Manuel Ott

Gelito Manuel Ott ( born May 6, 1992) is a German - Filipino football player. The Young Player of FC Ingolstadt 04 since 2010 A-National player of the Philippines.

Club career

Ott, who comes from Peter Stockhausen in the district of Dachau, began playing football at SV Ilmmünster, later he played at FSV Oberpfaffenhofen. When TSV 1860 Munich, he was active in the U-17 league. In summer 2009 he came to Ingolstadt, where he belonged now to the U-19 team. On 24 March 2010, he was for the second men's team of FC Ingolstadt its debut at the Bavarian League; now he firmly belongs to their squad.

National

Through its coming from Boracay mother Ott is entitled to start for the Philippines. In autumn 2009, Ott took part with the Philippine U-19 selection in the qualifying tournament for the Asian Cup in China. From 2nd to 13th January 2010, he graduated with the Philippine national team training camp in Manila. He then traveled with the team to a friendly tournament in Taiwan, where in Kaohsiung he played his first senior international match against the Taiwanese national football team on 16 January 2010. Ott was in the starting lineup and was replaced in the 60th minute; the game ended 0-0.
