Manuela Montebrun

Manuela Montebrun ( born November 13, 1979 in Laval ) is a French athlete. The hammer thrower in 2003 was third in the World Championship.

After a fifth place at the Junior World Championships in 1998 Montebrun won the 1999 their first international medal when they finished third at the Universiade. She was twelfth at the World Championships was also in 1999. A year later Montebrun failed to qualify for the Olympic Games in 2000 and finished only 24th place. At the 2001 World Championships she finished fifth. In the same year she won the title at the Universiade and at the U23 European Championships.

At the European Championships in Munich in 2002 she had a third with 72.04 meters a backlog of 90 centimeters on the Gold Medal of the Russian Olga Kusenkowa, but over 4 feet lay ahead of fourth-placed. At the 2003 World Championships in Paris -Saint -Denis, she was again with 70.92 meters to third parties, but only had 15 inches ahead of the fourth. In the 2004 Olympics she could not qualify as the 15th qualifying as four years before for the final. 2005 at the World Championships in Helsinki she threw the hammer 71.41 meters, which was fourth, with about one meter behind bronze. For the first time in 2008 Montebrun could qualify in Beijing for the Olympic finals in the hammer throw. There handed her 74.53 meters for fifth place, but it lacked 1.8 meters on the bronze medal.

Their best performance in the hammer throw scored Montebrun 2005 with 74.66 meters. The Athlete of Stade Laval has a competition weight of 92 kg at a height of 1.75 m.
