Manzano Amargo

Manzano Amargo is a place in the rank of a Comisión de Fomento in the department of Minas, in the province of Neuquen, Argentina. Manzano Amargo, situated in the valley of the Río Neuquén is one of the northernmost settlements in the province.

Although the region has been inhabited since the late 19th century, was officially founded Manzano Amargos only on 21 April 1988. According to the 2001 census of the INDEC Manzano Amargo had 344 inhabitants.

The main industry is agriculture ( livestock ). Of tourist interest is particularly fishing in the Neuquén River.
