Manzoor Hussain Atif

Manzoor Hussain Atif (born 4 November 1928 Gujrat, † December 8, 2008 in Islamabad ) was a Pakistani hockey player and sports official. He was involved in winning all three Olympic Hockey Gold Medals of Pakistan.

Life

Atif took in 1952 in Helsinki for the first time in the Olympic Games and part occupied with the Pakistani national team to fourth place. 1956 in Melbourne reached the center-back with his team for the first time an Olympic final, but where the team lost 0-1 against the team of the series winner India; the silver medal in 1956 was the first Olympic medal ever for Pakistan.
