Marahoué

Marahoué is a former administrative region of the Ivory Coast capital Bouaflé.

Population

One estimate from 2007, according to about 743 621 inhabitants has Marahoué and thus in an area of 8500 km ², a population density of 87 inhabitants per km ². At the last census in the year 1988 398.658 inhabitants were counted.

Geography

Marahoué located in the center of the Ivory Coast, bordered to the north by Worodougou, to the east by Vallée du Bandama and Lacs, to the south and to the west by Fromager skin -Sassandra. The region is divided into the départements Bouaflé, Sinfra and Zuenoula.
