Marc Baecke

Marc Baecke ( born July 24, 1956 in Sint -Niklaas ) is a retired Belgian footballer.

Playing career

Baecke began his career in 1976 at KSK Beveren. In Beveren he twice won the Belgian Championship, twice the Belgian Cup twice and the Belgian Supercup. After ten years with KSK, he moved in 1986 to KV Kortrijk, where he played one more year and then ended his career.

Internationally, he played 15 times for Belgium. He participated in the 1982 World Cup in Spain (off in the second group phase) and the 1984 European Championship in France ( Eliminated in the group stage ) part.
