Marc Blume

Marc Blume ( born December 28, 1973 in Luedinghausen, Coesfeld, Germany ) is a former German track and field athlete of the TV Wattenscheid 01 Athletics, which was already considered in the 1990s, to the best sprinters in Germany.

In collaboration with his coach Ronald Stein Marc Blume has gained two medals at the European level. In 1996 he became European Indoor Champion over 60 meters and 2002, he won the 4 x 100 - meter relay at the European Championships in Munich the bronze medal. However, it was him and his team-mates not presented, as the title win was the British revoked in 2006 by the doping confession Dwain Chambers and the German team did advance to third place. 2007 finished flower his long career to take up a position as a youth coach at his hometown club TV Wattenscheid.
