Marcel Höttecke

Marcel Höttecke ( born April 25, 1987 in Lippstadt ) is a German football goalkeeper. He was active and Others for Borussia Dortmund in the first and the first FC Union Berlin in the second division.

Career

Marcel Höttecke began his career in his hometown at TSV Ruethen. He soon joined the youth team of SC Lippstadt, on Westfalia Erwitte he finally came to SC Paderborn 07 where discovered Scouts of LR Ahlen talent Hötteckes and he joined the youth team of Westphalia. In the season 2006/ 07 he was appointed as a youth player in the squad of the second division.

For winter break, he moved to Borussia Dortmund, where he left Roman Weidenfeller and Marc Ziegler, however, was only the third goalkeeper. As a goalkeeper of the second team, he played in the 2007/ 08 season in the Regionalliga Nord in 30 games 17 times to zero.

His professional debut in the Bundesliga he gave on 16 April 2008 in the 1-3 home defeat against Hannover 96 also 0-0 against 1 FC Nuremberg on May 2, 2008, he stood in the gate and played in the Bundesliga for the first time to zero. In the last game of the season Regionalliga season 2007/ 08 Höttecke suffered an unhappy triad and therefore missed the entire season 2008 /09. Since then he was back goalkeeper of Dortmund's second representative in the 3rd league.
