Marcin Burkhardt ( 2009)

Marcin Burkhardt ( born September 25, 1983 in Elblag, Poland ) is a Polish footballer.

Club career

Burkhardt began his professional career at Amica Wronki. In the 2000 /01 season he made his debut in the Ekstraklasa. Here he even became international. In 2005 he moved to Legia Warszawa. Here he could only shine in his first season and was sold in 2008 to Sweden IFK Norrkoping. In the Swedish Allsvenskan, the top division, he completed 14 games and scored one goal. After Norrkoping had descended on the end of the season, he played in 2009/10 even 15 games in the Superettan ( the second Swedish league) and scored a total of four goals. For the second half of the season 2009/10 he moved to Ukraine to Metalist Kharkiv. Here, however, he could not sit down and was loaned out in early 2010 for a year to Jagiellonia Białystok. With his new club, he won both the Polish Cup as well as the Polish Supercup. In January 2011, he was firmly committed to Białystok. In summer 2012, he joined the Azerbaijani first division club PFK Simurq Zaqatala. Here he played 24 league games and scored five goals. At the beginning of the 2013/14 season, he joined the 2nd Polish League to Miedź Legnica. He signed a two-year contract.

National

In the Polish national team, he played between 2003 and 2005 a total of 10 times and scored one goal.

His younger brother Filip Burkhardt is also a professional football player ( he plays for Sandecja Nowy Sacz current in the 2nd Polish League ), just as his father Jacek Burkhardt was ( played for Olimpia Poznań, B36 Tórshavn and TB Tvöroyri ).
