Marco Borradori

Marco Borradori ( born June 6, 1959 in Lugano, hometown entitled in Gordola ) is a Swiss politician ( Lega ).

Borradori studied law at the University of Zurich. From 25 November 1991 to 11 April 1995, he was the National Council. From April 1992 to April 1995 he was a council of Lugano. Since April 2, 1995 Borradori State Council is in the Canton of Ticino and has since been re-elected four times. He stands in front of the Buildings Department. At the cantonal elections of April 1, 2007, he reached over 81,000 votes, the best result of all candidates. In the 2011 elections he was re-elected.

In April 2013, he stepped up to the elections of the municipal government of Lugano and was elected mayor. Therefore, he resigned from the Canton government. He was succeeded by Michele Barra.
