Marcus Perpenna Vento

Marcus Perperna Veiento ( the cognomen is not clearly documented, † 72 BC ) was a politician of the late Roman Republic.

Perperna was probably a son of Marcus Perperna, who had been consul in 92 BC, and was one of the populares. 82 BC he was praetor, governor of Sicily, but had before the commander Sulla, Pompey, flee. He lived in Liguria and Sardinia, until he went BC Quintus Sertorius in Spain probably 77. When Sertorius ' deputy, he fought against Quintus Caecilius Metellus Pius and Pompey again.
