Maren Eggert

Maren Eggert ( born January 30, 1974 in Hamburg ) is a German actress.

Life

The merchant's daughter graduated from 1994 to 1998 her acting training at the Otto Falkenberg School in Munich. After a guest involvement in Zurich, she played from 1998 to 2000 at the Schauspielhaus Bochum and belonged since 2000 to the ensemble of the Thalia Theatre in Hamburg. Since the season 2009/10 Maren Eggert is an ensemble member at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin.

In 1997, she starred in The pharmacist and 2001 as the girlfriend, played by Moritz Bleibtreu journalists in the experiment in the cinema. For her performance in The Woman at the end of the road Maren Eggert has been awarded together with Matthias Brandt 2008 with the German Critics' Prize. In Dominik Graf's film The vow over Clemens Brentano's encounter with the nun Anna Katharina Emmerich, she embodied Bettina von Arnim. However, known to TV audiences, it is primarily as a police psychologist Frieda Jung, she played from 2003 to 2010 on the side of Axel Milberg as Klaus Borowski in the produced by NDR Kiel crime scenes.

The actress also lent her voice different audiobook productions, such as The taste of apple cores ( 2008) by Catherine Hagena or Reading to you ( 2009), a bilingual reading with the American writer Siri Hustvedt.

In December 2011, Eggert has published with the German band Erdmöbel the Christmas song " tinsel " as a duet with the singer Markus mountain.

Maren Eggert lives with her husband Peter Jordan in Berlin.
