Tana French

Tana French [' tɑ: nə ' fɹɛnt͡ʃ ] (* 1973) is an American- Italian mystery - writer who lives in Dublin since 1990.

Life

French came in 1973 as the daughter of an American economist and an Italian in the United States to the world. Through the work of her father, she lived as a child in several developing countries, including Malawi, but also in the USA, Italy and Ireland. She studied at Trinity College, Dublin, drama and worked for film and television. She was for some time a member of the Irish Purple Heart Theatre Company. She is married and has one daughter.
