Margit Vanek

Margit Vanek ( born February 25, 1986 in Budaörs ) is a Hungarian professional triathlete and Aquathlon World Champion of 2010.

Career

Vanek also participates in non- ITU races, they won the first Garmin Milano City Triathlon (2010).

In September 2010, she was Aquathlon World Champion in Hungary.

2011 Vanek also went to the French Club Championship Series Lyonnaise des Eaux at the start and took TCG79 Parthenay. In Hungary Margit Vanek starts for the Budaőrsi triathlon club Egyesülete and today she lives in Budaörs.

In June 2013 were Margit Vanek in Turkey seventh in the Triathlon European Championships in the Olympic Short Distance (1.5 km swim, 40 km cycling and 10 km running).

She led the Hungarian rankings with 1,461 points before Zsófia Kovács (as of August 10, 2012 ).

In the five years 2006-2010 Vanek took part in 21 ITU competitions and achieved four times top ten rankings. In the 2011 season Vanek started with three top ten places.
