Maria-Chapdelaine Regional County Municipality

Maria- Chapdelaine is a regional county municipality (French municipalité régional du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Quebec.

It is located in the administrative region of Saguenay -Lac -Saint -Jean and consists of 14 subordinate administrative units (two cities, eight towns, a village, a parish and two unincorporated areas). The MRC was established on 1 January 1983. The main town is Dolbeau Mistassini -. The population is 24,971 and the area 35533.9 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 0.7 inhabitants per km ².
