Marianela Núñez

Marianela Núñez ( born in 1982 in San Martín ( Buenos Aires ), Argentina) is an Argentine ballet dancer with the rank of " Principal Dancers" with the Royal Ballet in London.

Life

Marianela Núñez was born in San Martín ( Buenos Aires ). With three years she received her first ballet lessons and was admitted with eight years at the Instituto Superior de Arte of the Teatro Colón. At the age of 14, she was accepted into the Corps de Ballet. In 1997, she continued her education at the " Upper School " of the Royal Ballet School in London. At the start of the 1998/99 season it was taken in the company of the Royal Ballet, appointed in 2001 to the " First Soloist ". In September 2002, she was promoted to " Principal Dancer" and dances since the lead roles. In 2005, she received the Critics' Circle National Dance Award for "Best Dancer ".
