Marie Lu

Marie Lu ( born 1984 in Wuxi as Xiwei Lu) is an American science fiction author.

Life

Lu lived until the age of five in Beijing, before moving to Texas. She studied at the University of Southern California and worked at different companies for video games later. They developed games for iOS and Facebook. She is now full-time writer and also writes occasional poems. She lives in Pasadena.

Legend Trilogy

Marie Lu was known by the dystopian novels Legend. A film version of CBS Films, in Jonathan Levine is directing, is planned.
