Marieluise Beck

Marie Luise Beck ( born June 25, 1952 in Bramsche ) is a German politician of the Alliance 90/The Greens. She is a member of the Bundestag and spokeswoman for Eastern policy of their party. She was from 2002 to 2005 Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth 1998-2005 Ausländerbeauftragte the federal government.

Biography

Education and work

After graduating from high school in 1970 in Osnabrück, she completed a teaching degree for German, history and social studies in Bielefeld and Heidelberg. After that she worked as a secondary school teacher at the Konrad-Adenauer -Realschule in Pforzheim and at the Gesamtschule Bremen -Mitte.

Marie Luise Beck said during her first marriage, and until the end of the eighties Marie Luise Beck Oberndorf. On February 17, 2006, she married her longtime partner Ralf Fücks, with whom she has two daughters.

Party

During her studies in Bielefeld was engaged Marie Luise Beck Social Democratic Student Federation ( SHB). Since 1980 she is a member of the Green Party.

Member of Parliament

1983 Marie Luise Beck was elected on a national list in the German Bundestag and was a member of the first Green Party in the Bundestag, the girl she was from 1983 to 1984. In 1985, she presented because of the then prevailing among the Greens rotation principle down its mandate, but moved to the general election in 1987 again in the Bundestag, which they then belonged until 1990.
