Marijn Backer
Marijn Backer ( born September 6, 1956 in Leiden) is a Dutch columnist, teacher, poet and author of children 's books.
Life
Backer grew up in Zeeland and later near Amersfoort. He is a columnist of NRC Handelsblad, where it has a bi-weekly column about education. Backer works in Bilthoven in school " Werkplaats Kindergemeenschap " (founded by Kees Boeke ) as a team leader and there is also a teacher of Greek and Latin. He wrote a Latin textbook that had an educational influence on the development of Latin education in the Netherlands.

- Pay with niet om in 2007 received an honorable mention in the context of the literary prize Gouden Zoen.
