Marina Yannakoudakis

Marina Yannakoudakis (* April 16, 1956 in Paddington, London) is a British politician of the Conservative Party.

Life

Yannakoudakis studied history and political science at Brunel University. At the Open University, she studied educational sciences. Yannakoudakis since 2009 Member of the European Parliament.

As an MEP she is in the European Conservatives and Reformists She is a member of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety, the Committee on Women and Gender Equality of the rights and the Delegation to the Joint Parliamentary Committee EU-Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. As a deputy she has worked on the special committee on organized crime, corruption and money laundering and the Delegation for relations with Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo.

She is married to Zacharias Yannakoudakis, has three children and lives with her family in Barnet.
