Mario Brkljača

Mario Brkljača (born 7 February 1985 in Zagreb) is a Croatian football player.

Career

Association

Mario Brkljača began his professional career at the beginning of the season 2003 /04 at the NK Zagreb, for which he already played in the youth. Since 2004 /05 he was a regular in midfield and ran for the club in 128 games in the first Croatian league, where he scored 12 goals. In January 2009 he was transferred for a transfer fee in the amount of 300,000 euros to Hajduk Split. In the summer of 2009, he was awarded the Serie A at Cagliari.

National

For the Croatian U-21 national football team Brkljača played his first match on 9 November 2004 in a friendly against Slovenia, scoring his first goal.
