Mario Savio
Mario Savio ( born December 8, 1942 † 6 November 1996) was an American civil rights activist and spokesman of the student movement of the 1960s in the United States.
The son of a factory - worker from Sicily grew up in New York and studied at the Manhattan College and Queens College and later at the University of California, Berkeley, California 1963 Physics and Philosophy. In March 1964 he was arrested because he demonstrated against the San Francisco Hotel Association, the Black excluded from some occupations. The following summer, he worked as a civil rights activist in Mississippi, where he helped African Americans to enlist in the voter lists. 2010 used the U.S. band Linkin Park 's famous first speech in the song Wrectches And Kings.
