Marjan Kalhor

Marjan Kalhor (Persian مرجان کلهر; born July 21, 1988 in Tehran ) is an Iranian alpine and former Grasskiläuferin. She took in 2005 at the Grass Skiing World Cup, 2009 and 2011 Olympics at the Alpine World Skiing Championships and 2010 as the first Iranian woman in Winter Games part. In Grass Skiing World Cup they reached the podium, at the Alpine Skiing World Cup, they did not start yet.

Career

Alpine Skiing

Kalhor grew up in Iran Dizin ski resort on and began at the age of four years with the skiing. In the winter of 2005/ 06, she participated in her first FIS races in alpine skiing in Iran and Turkey. She reached from the start good rankings and celebrated on April 6th in the giant slalom at Dizin their first victory. The next winter she reached back several podium finishes in FIS races and early April 2007 she was Iranian champion in giant slalom. A total of seven victories in FIS races in Iran get her in the 2007/ 08 season and in March, she won the Iranian championship in the giant slalom and Super- G. In February 2009, Kalhor took part in the World Championships in Val d'Isere as one of three Iranians. She won the giant slalom with a gap of 38.28 seconds and the 60th place in the slalom with 35.71 seconds behind the 55th rank. So she was the last of the runners each evaluated.

After further victories in FIS races and four national titles at the beginning of 2011, Kalhor also participated in the 2011 World Championships in Garmisch -Partenkirchen. In slalom, she placed 55th place among 60 runners and evaluated in the giant slalom the 88th place among 91 runners evaluated. In 2012, more wins were added in FIS races and three Iranian title.

Grasski

In Grasski Kalhor had their first international appearances at the FIS races in the Czech Branná in August 2005. Beat your best score it was the eighth place in the slalom.
