Mark Feeney

Mark Feeney ( born July 28, 1957 in Winchester, Massachusetts) is an American journalist and film critic.

Feeney grew up in Reading ( Massachusetts). Feeney made ​​in 1979 with a degree in literature and history at Harvard College. Since 1979 he has worked for The Boston Globe. He began as a researcher for the Library of the Boston Globe. From 1980 he worked as an editor in the category of literary criticism. Beginning of the 1990s he was editor of analysis and comment section of the Sunday edition of the Boston Globe. Between September 1993 and March 1994, he worked for The Boston Globe Magazine. He is currently editor of the arts section of the newspaper, but he treated the subjects Photography, Movies and Art. He wrote a book called Nixon at the Movies: A Book about Belief, which was published in 2004. Feeney taught at Brandeis University, Princeton University and Yale University. In 2008, Feeney won for his criticisms of the Pulitzer Prize in criticism.
