Mark Griffin (politician)

Mark Griffin (born 19 October 1985 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish politician and member of the Labour Party.

Griffin attended the St Patrick's Primary School and St Maurice 's High School in Cumbernauld. He then attended the University of Strathclyde and left her with a bachelor degree in engineering. He then worked as an engineer in Northern Ireland. Since 2008, Griffin Board member of North Lanarkshire.

In the Scottish Parliament elections 2011 Griffin stood as a candidate for the Regional Evaluation of the Labour Party for the election Region Central Scotland. On the basis of the election results he achieved as one of three Labour politicians of the catchment in the Scottish Parliament for Central Scotland. At the time of the election Griffin was only 25 years old and was the youngest member, had ever been elected to the Scottish Parliament.
