Mark Iuliano

Mark Iuliano ( born August 12, 1973 in Cosenza, Italy) is an Italian football player. His main position is center-back.

Career

In the club

Mark Iuliano began his professional career at Salernitana Calcio in Serie B. After that he played on loan for the Bologna FC and FC Monza, also in the second Italian league. He spent the major part of his career from 1996 to 2005 with Juventus, where he was a regular for years and under coach Marcello Lippi was able to celebrate their successes. In January 2005 he moved to Real Mallorca, from which he went to Sampdoria in January 2006. In the 2006/07 season he played for FC Messina in Serie A. Since January 2008 Iuliano is at Ravenna Calcio in Serie B under contract. On 1 June 2008 he tested positive for using cocaine during a doping control. After his professional career ended due to this incident and found no long Iuliano new club, he continued his career for the season 2010/11 continues the eight- division side San Genesio Calcio in the Prima Categoria.

In the National Team

Mark Iuliano graduated 19 caps for Italy, scoring one goal. His debut celebrated on 5 September 1998 against Wales, he played his last game on 20 November 2002 against Turkey. With the Squadra Azzurra Iuliano took part in the 2000 European Championships and the 2002 World Cup in part.
